Search Attribute Abbreviation = EB. Certification programs exist that allow building owners and operators to certify that the ongoing operation and maintenance of existing buildings is carried out in a sustainable manner. Points are offered for efforts made to ensure that buildings use less energy, water and other natural resources; improve the indoor environment for occupants; and monitor and ensure high operating efficiency. Points are available for incorporating ongoing consumables such paper and other office supplies that contain recycled content or rapidly renewable material, are FSC-certified paper, or contain material harvested and processed or extracted and processed within 500 miles of the project. Cleaning products must meet certain sustainabilty standards to be eligible to contribute toward earning points. Refine your search and select Division 50 for Office Products and Division 51 for Cleaning Products. Products in other divisions can also help if used for maintenance, to furnish the building, or for additions and alterations.
